Meet “LEO”, our fully refurbished and repurposed 1959 Morris Bespoke Vintage Bar. Available for hire across North Wales and the North West of England.
Originally a “Lyons Tea Van” on the streets of London, LEO first joined the Williams family in 1963 as Strand Catering’s mobile catering unit under the legacy of Rachel’s grandfather, the wonderful Walter “Wally” Williams. LEO is fondly remembered by the country folk of North Wales for serving piping hot tea and sandwiches.
LEO was retired to the shed for 40 years until Wally’s granddaughter Rachel and her husband Grant decided to bring new lease of life to old LEO.
After careful restoration and a complete internal refurbishment, LEO reemerged as a fully equipped vintage mobile bar.
We’re Rachel & Grant Howard. We are delighted to be able to share our passion for LEO our vintage bar with the North West. LEO’s very first appearance as a Vintage Bar was on our own wedding day! No matter what your event, we ensure that as much care and dedication goes into it as on that very first day.
Although LEO is a new addition, we have a rich family history in mobile and event catering, so rest assured your event is in professional hands every step of the way.
Each event is unique and that’s why we create a package based on exactly what you’re looking for to give your event the flair it deserves. We offer an array of champagnes, wines, beers and mixed drinks and can cater for events from 50 to 300 guests. We are proud to team up with local suppliers and the unique selection of beverages available in North Wales.
We arrive two hours before your event with a fully stocked Vintage Bar ready to go. All the drinks, glassware and accompaniments will transported in LEO and set up ready for your event. The bar can be paid at the end of the event by the host, or by your guests as they go like any traditional bar. For larger events, we include our Refrigerated Trailer.
Select a single beverage , or up to three different drinks to welcome guests to your event. LEO will be present at your event for two hours to serve welcome drinks and provide a unique backdrop for photos! Two staff will be present for the duration and a cash bar option can be made available after welcome drinks are served.
We provide the Vintage Bar, you provide the drinks! This service is where we will arrive with LEO empty (we can still provide glassware and accompaniments if required). We will also provide staff to serve your guests. We also offer a 25% discount on our Refrigerated Trailer Hire so your drinks are chilled and ready to go on-site. Prices start from £500 for 4 hours.
We offer a variety of wedding packages including welcome drinks, prosecco, champagne or a drink of your choice for the toasts, and wine for the table, all served ice-cold from our Refrigerated Trailer. LEO makes the perfect addition to any wedding story (and we would know!). All our wedding packages are tailored to your exact needs.
